過去在使用Hyperion的時候，就有一套專門處理資料品質的FDQM，透過這個工具才能控管資料品質。而現在MS發展DW到了一種程度，就也需要一套品質控管的工具，而這個工具就是MS在2008年併購的Zoomix！
